SENSUAL COURSON, DAY 2
Courson is a gift for the senses, and one is invited to see, hear, smell, taste and touch at all times. This season Pépinières Baud won my prize for the most sensual stand. Black pomegranates, green, red and purple figs and fig trees were displayed like autumn jewels, both in the trees and on large platters…
After such a sensory overload, at the end of the day there was a traffic jam leaving Courson, in the middle of the countryside. However, instead of complaining, the visitors were in such a horti-cultural headspace that passengers left the cars and took to a nearby field of cosmos blossoms, picking flowers gleefully, in order to preserve the moment just a bit longer…
You can’t even see the people, so deep are they in flowers…
Heady stuff,
Lisa
